We are not here to

replace conventional medicine.

We are here to complete the picture.

Conventional medicine is essential for emergencies, acute care, major disease, and life-saving intervention.
But problem was that no one had looked deeply enough.
But many patients do not come to us because they have never seen a doctor.
They come to us because they have seen several.

Our Clinical Philosophy

Correction comes before optimization.

At HFW, we evaluate health through nine interconnected categories:

01
Gut Health
Digestive function, microbiome balance, absorption, inflammation, food reactivity, and gut-related symptoms.
02
Hormonal Health
Estrogen, progesterone, testosterone, thyroid, cortisol, insulin, DHEA, and the patterns that influence energy, mood, sleep, libido, weight, and recovery.

03

Metabolic Health
Blood sugar, insulin, lipids, body composition, cravings, weight resistance, and long-term cardiometabolic risk.

04

Inflammation
Inflammatory patterns that may affect pain, fatigue, brain fog, recovery, hormone signaling, immune function, and aging.
05
Mitochondrial and Cellular Energy
Cellular energy production, oxidative stress, fatigue patterns, recovery capacity, and resilience.

06

Nutrient Status
Deficiencies, absorption issues, cellular nutrient demand, and the patterns that may affect energy, mood, immunity, hormones, and repair.

07

Stress, Sleep, and Nervous System Patterns
Cortisol rhythm, sleep quality, stress response, recovery capacity, mood, and resilience.

08

Immune Function and Resilience
Immune activity, reactivity, chronic inflammatory patterns, infection resilience, and long-term immune health.

09

Biological Age and Organ-System Health
How your body may be aging beneath the surface, including organ-system patterns that may help guide prevention and longevity planning.

Board-Certified Women’s Health Nurse Practitioner
Hormone Optimization Women's Health Functional Medicine Gut Health Chronic Conditions

Christina Warner brings 25 years of clinical experience and a deeply personal understanding of what it means to be dismissed by a system that does not always see the whole person.
Her work is shaped by her own experience with life-threatening postpartum heart failure and later uncovering Bartonella as a hidden driver behind neurocognitive symptoms affecting mood, memory, focus, and daily function.
Those experiences shaped her belief that the body cannot be treated in pieces.

Frequently Asked Questions

Is HFW Longevity a functional medicine practice?

Yes. HFW uses functional medicine principles, advanced diagnostics, personalized protocols, and ongoing biomarker tracking.
We also include conventional medical oversight, prescription support when appropriate, hormone optimization, peptide therapy, bioregulators, and long-term clinical monitoring.

Physician-led means your care is supported by a clinical team that includes medical oversight, advanced functional medicine strategy, and provider-guided protocol development.
Dr. Saul Maslavi, MD, serves as Medical Director. Christina Warner, APN, NP-C, brings 25 years of clinical experience in women’s health, hormones, gut health, and root-cause care. Dr. Eric Landi, KICP, supports advanced functional testing, peptide therapy, and longevity protocol strategy.

Most traditional visits focus on disease diagnosis and symptom management.
HFW focuses on why you feel the way you feel before disease becomes the only thing that gets attention. We evaluate gut health, hormones, metabolism, inflammation, nutrient status, mitochondrial function, stress physiology, biological aging, and clinical trends over time. The goal is to maximize healthspan and get your body functioning in an optimal state.

Because standard labs often look for disease-range abnormalities.
Many patients are symptomatic long before their numbers become alarming. HFW looks beyond basic ranges and evaluates patterns, trends, advanced markers, and how your symptoms connect across multiple systems.

Yes. HFW is built as a telehealth-first practice.
Consultations happen virtually. Lab kits can be shipped to your home, and bloodwork can be coordinated locally through Quest/Lab-corp when needed. Prescriptions, supplements, and compounded medications can be managed through appropriate pharmacy partners when clinically indicated.

No. HFW serves patients nationwide through telehealth.
Some services, labs, prescriptions, and clinical recommendations may vary depending on state-specific rules and clinical fit.

Testing may include comprehensive bloodwork, GI-MAP stool analysis, DUTCH hormone testing, Metabolomix+ nutritional testing, TruAge and TruHealth biological age testing, IgG food sensitivity testing, Adrenocortex Stress Profile, genetic testing, DEXA or bone density testing, and custom panels when appropriate.
Testing is selected based on your symptoms, history, goals, and provider recommendations.

No.
Peptides and hormone therapy are tools, not default treatments. They may be considered when clinically appropriate, after reviewing your symptoms, testing, health history, safety markers, and goals.
HFW’s approach is to correct the foundation first, then layer in advanced therapies strategically when they make sense.

HFW generally operates on a cash-pay model, though some services such as bloodwork may be covered by insurance HSA and FSA cards are accepted where applicable, and all major credit and debit cards are accepted.
This model allows more time, deeper testing, ongoing monitoring, and proactive care that is not limited by insurance-based rules, which do not typically cover pro-active treatment.

HFW is best for proactive patients who want deeper answers, are willing to complete testing, value long-term health, and want a clinical partner who will track their biology over time.
It is not the right fit for patients looking for emergency care, quick fixes, or one-size-fits-all protocols.
